Mosaic Workshops



10am – 1pm

Learn the basics of  mosaic at the inspirational Sillymoo studio in Box. The setting is friendly and informal and classes are kept to small groups of up to 8 people.  These popular courses are perfect for complete beginners and are run throughout the year.  You will have the opportunity to create a small mosaic piece using the skills taught on the day with all tools and an abundance of materials provided to get the creative juices flowing!

Children’s workshops are also available upon request.

These popular courses are for those wishing to learn the art of mosaic and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those returning to further their experience.  You will have access to glass and ceramic tiles, stained glass, coloured mirror, buttons and gems, nuggets, milleflori and vintage china. You will be guided through the process of planning and creating your piece and will be expert in cutting tiles to any shape within the first hour of your arrival. Classes are kept to no more than 6 people to allow for full support and tuition throughout the day. I guarantee you will leave with a mosaic you will be proud of together with the skills and confidence to tackle larger projects. All tools and materials are included as is a delicious lunch, tea and cake.

The day costs £65 (includes all materials and a full vegetarian lunch) and runs from 10.30am – 4pm
