About Me

Welcome……this is me!

My name is Emma and I have been working with mosaic for years. It’s been a hobby a passion and a business.  I work from my kitchen studio surrounded by colourful tiles, broken plates, sparkly things and an abundance of wool and felt. When I’m not ‘nibbling’ tiles (that’s a technical ish term!) I’m knitting, crocheting, spinning or creating with anything that sets off my imagination.  I share my studio with Pickles and Scrabble my 2 miniature wire haired dachshunds who are either asleep on the job or harassing Skippy our long suffering ginger tom.

Motivated by my enthusiasm to make things of beauty I aim to inspire people to get creative with colour and enjoy their inner artist….we all have one!

Sometimes I like to sit and spin art yarn as a way of relaxing. There's something very transcendental about spinning.

My work is a celebration of the lighter side of life. Taking everyday objects and moments I aim to translate them into things of colourful beauty with a smattering of humour.  I run regular mosaic, felting and crochet workshops from my studio in Box as well as creating pieces for exhibition, domestic and community projects.

Oh….and I also run The Little Box Cafe with my business partner Helen!
