Liberty print bag

Last week I went to London on a flying day trip to visit my friend Marc Cass of  Cass Art   and to spend a delicious two hours on the second floor of Libertys delighting in their beautiful fabrics and haberdashery. I came away with a beautiful bundle of fabric before hot footing my way to  Cass Art and purchasing a bag of much needed essential goodies courtesy of the best art suppliers in the world!

Here’s a little project I’ve been working on as a gift for my friend who, like me is a Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist (which means we chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo). It’s my first attempt at applique (at least I think it’s applique!) and is a small bag to keep her prayer beads inImage
